Partnering with LIVE + BREATHE has been instrumental in connecting us with other like-minded value-driven communities within South London. Thanks to LIVE + BREATHE, we’ll be holding an event focused one creating awareness of pollution in our city and bringing together our community of artists with Poetic Unity and Live + Breathe. Because of LIVE + BREATHE, we now have a billboard on Peckham High Street featuring Orii Community, which brings us a huge amount of joy, and should hopefully attract new audiences to our events.

Partnering with LIVE + BREATHE has been crucial in a helping us engage young people in South London in discussing social issues and environmental justice. Funding from Live + Breathe has helped us create the Clean Air For The Ends campaign which has seen us host an event and activation involving hundreds of people in the community.

I LIVE + BREATHE for freedom of expression – Our FUTURE relies on the air we breathe TODAY! Who is going to stand up for the vulnerable and those who do not know about the silent killer, that is air pollution? Why should we suffer and be quiet about this silent toxic killer! Standing up is better than being six feet under. The future needs clean air/ we all deserve to live in a space that has clean air.

Cece Rollerskates is a London-based rollerskater who raises awareness about air pollution among other social issues impacting mothers and young people in the city. Cece emphasises the power of creativity and community action in driving environmental and social change.

Fight 4 Change
F4C is a London-based charity that uses boxing and other sports to support marginalised young people and adults. It offers programs that promote physical health, mental well-being, and personal development. By providing mentoring, education, and job opportunities, they help participants build confidence and break free from negative environments.

Orii Community
Orii Community host weekly jam sessions and events, through which they’ve been able to build a community of over 100 young rappers, instrumentalists, vocalists, beatboxers, DJs, producers, promoters, graphic designers and videographers who are mainly POC and LGBTQ+, creating & improvising nu-jazz, neo-soul, hip-hop and R&B.
